Optimize Website option on cPanel helps you to enable gzip compression. Apache allows you to compress the data before sending it to the browser and then web browser extracts the data and displays the webpage. Apache mod_deflate must be enabled on the server for gzip compression function. This compression helps our website to load much faster. This article will guide you on how to use this feature on cPanel

1. Login into your cPanel

2. Select Optimize website option from under Software section on cPanel home.

3. Under Optimize Website, you will see Compress Content. You can choose any option from the 3 listed there.

Choose Compress All Content to enable gzip compression for all content. Once done click on Update Settings and you are done with compression of website contents.
